What is The Pressure Drop?

A Community-Powered Health Equity Project
working to detect and raise awareness about High Blood Pressure (BP) and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) in Black Residents in Lewisham’s Sevenfields Primary Care Network and Ravensbourne Primary Care Network.

We focus on early detection of high blood pressure and chronic kidney disease, conditions that are common, often silent, and too frequently diagnosed too late. We work in trusted community spaces to help people understand their blood
pressure, take charge of their health, and get the right care early.

Through culturally appropriate outreach, we aim to raise awareness, understand barriers, and address misconceptions around breast screening. Our initiative builds trust in screening services by providing expert medical advice by practicing GP, reassurance, clear information, and motivation to book appointments.

By delivering engaging roadshows, we create safe and welcoming spaces where people can learn about breast screening, ask questions, and have open
conversations, supporting early detection and saving lives.

It's All Gone Tits Up
